Engagement

For more than 25 years, not only has the quality of our louvre windows been our priority, but also the satisfaction of our customers and our social responsibility towards our employees and future generations. We take this responsibility into account by expanding our activities in social areas and supporting projects.

The largest international university competition for sustainable urban building and living, the Solar Decathlon Europe, took place in Germany for the first time in June 2022. Team MIMO from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences took on this challenge under the motto “Minimal Impact – Maximal Output”—minimal intervention, but maximum benefit for society. The MIMO team and the 17 other teams from 11 countries shared a vision: To make building and living sustainable for the future.

We are pleased that EuroLam, as a sponsor, was able to contribute to the realization of this project. EuroLam’s energy-self-sufficient louvered windows formed the basis for the façade and serve to provide optimal ventilation, act as sun protection, and prevent heat buildup. The louvered windows, featuring an integrated photovoltaic panel in the glazing, enable automatic, controlled, electrically operated natural ventilation without the need for an additional power connection or the complex installation of cables within the building.

The work in the children's hospice in Tambach-Dietharz deserves our recognition and support. Not far from our company headquarters is the house where children live who are very ill and don't have much longer to live. Care in the hospice enables parents and siblings to share important and lasting moments together. For years we have been donating to the children's and young people's hospice in Central Germany. In 2021 we have expanded our activities and are donating an additional euro for every louvre window sold.

Commitment to Culture – EuroLam Supports the Weimar Bach Biennale

For many years, EuroLam GmbH has been supporting the Weimar Bach Biennale. Through this support, the company helps ensure that the music of Johann Sebastian Bach can continue to be experienced in a historic setting and inspires people of all ages.

This regular donation underscores our commitment to culture and education—values that are particularly close to our hearts as a company. In this way, we combine innovative technology with a lasting commitment to society.

EuroLam GmbH has been committed to local sports for many years and supports the clubs in Frankendorf, Umpferstedt, and Pfiffelbach. Through this support, we help ensure that children, teenagers, and adults have the best possible conditions for training, playing, and building community.

Our commitment underscores how important social responsibility is to us; we combine innovative technology with a sustained commitment to the region.

EuroLam GmbH is actively committed to safety in the region and supports both the Pfiffelbach Youth Fire Department and the Wiegendorf Fire Department.

With a donation of €700 for new fire hoses in Pfiffelbach, as well as additional support for the fire department in Wiegendorf, EuroLam helps ensure that emergency responders are fully equipped and can reliably carry out their important work. At the same time, we are specifically promoting local fire safety—an issue that is also embedded in our high standards for modern louvered windows.

We thank the fire departments for their vital service and are pleased to support their valuable work through our commitment.

Support for Up-and-Coming Athletes

EuroLam GmbH has been supporting Canadian canoe sprinter Lukas Goas since last year as he pursues his career as an up-and-coming athlete. Lukas stands out for his discipline, ambition, and determination to continuously improve.

The 16-year-old is a member of the Canadian Junior World Championship team and a Triple Crown winner at the Canadian Sprint Championships. He has gained international competition experience in Portugal and the Czech Republic, among other places.

With our support, Lukas can continue his training and education at a Berlin sports school. He exemplifies the next generation of elite athletes who realize their potential through focus and hard work—values that are also central to EuroLam.
