“Today we are the leading manufacturer of insulated louvre windows in the world” says the manageress and wife, Heidrun Hommer. The company employs approximately 50 employees from the region around Weimar in Wiegendorf, trains apprentices and generated sales of approximately 6 million Euros in 2012.

With merely an idea, the Rhineland-born Ernst Hommer had started in Isseroda in 1996 before he settled in Wiegendorf in 1998. Almost immediately, he managed to win a large contract from Japan."
